Me vs. E36 M3...

Ran into a E36 M3 last night. He was trying to provoke the race by matching my speed... if I speed up, he will, if I slow down, he will. We ran 5 times.
All these runs were 2 block races ( about a 1/4 mile )
1st run: We were going about 40mph. I was just cruising and he kept matching my speed, so I punched it and so did he. Got him by 1 car length up to 90mph.
2nd run: I was at the light at a dead stop, and he kept back about 1 car lenght to get a roll on me. I see him start to move when the light was yellow, so I knew what he was trying to do. I always torque brake when I am racing from a dead stop, so I just launch it! We were dead even up to 90mph.
3rd run: He was at a dead stop and I got the rolling start... got him by 1 to 1 1/2 car lenghts up to 90mph
4th run: We were both at dead stop, both lauched at the same time... he got me by a bumper ( manual trans ) but I catch up by third gear... dead even.
5th run: We were both at a dead stop and I got a better launch. Got him by half a car.
He did not look pleased
I didn't get a chance to talk to him because he did not look over to me. He kept his head towards the road, so I couldn't even give him props. Don't know what he had as far as mods, but I did see a muffler and it was lowered.

That's an awesome race man, those damn M3's are fast.. Some old man pulled up next to me the other day while I was doing about 45 and he heard my car was messing around.. I really didn't want any part of it, because I know I don't stand a chance. SO OF COURSE the next light turns red and there we sit, I just kind of look away, haha.. wouldn't have been much of a challenge for him, but after he tore away we were stopped at the next light and he yelled over "nice car, looks fast." Whether or not he was kidding, I yelled "AUTOMATIC, don't worry it's not!!" He laughed at waved as he tore away again.. damn german cars.

M3s are fast but unless they are chipped...or supercharged...stock to stock won't blow doors off the Maxima. it's going to be a good race although you won't win every time, you'll win some and lose some...all depending on the drivers and the car factor....

last time i posted this kind of thread about me racing a E36 M3, alot of M3 lovers came out to bash me and tell me that the M3 wasn't trying and all that shiet...where are they now?
