Engine Pull BAck
I have a 2001 maxima GXE. When I take my foot off the accelerator the engine feels like it pulls back, and I experience a rapid deceleration of the engine. Has anyone had any similiar experience and if so what have you done.
I have taken the car to two different dealers and they say that nothing is wrong.
However someone told me to take off the TCS because that could be holding the engine back.
Any comments?

As for TCS - that should have no bearing on what your feeling unless wheels lose traction and it activates.
Done nothing, as I don't believe there is anything that can be done.

Yeah it's normal. The max compression brakes pretty hard. I feel it in all five gears, but most prominent in 1st and 2nd. I have a stick.
