I'm watching monday night football (patriots and stealers) and I saw the sunset commercial again. Anybody seen it before? It's indeed a 2003 maxima. Well, I guess it could be a 2002...I just know it has the larger nissan emblem. I think it's terribly uninventive of Nissan to use the same commercial but I luuuuuuuuve that commercial. Makes me wanna work three jobs so I can afford to get a new maxima!

The commercial was actually for a 2K Max if you look closely. It is a photoshopped commercial using 2K3 headlights and so on. I have all of the 5th gen commercials on DVD and noticed the difference watching Monday Night Football here at work.

I think you have to join the adcritic site because I got there and couldn't get in myself.

i...

noticed it was a 2k or 2k1 right when i saw it.... especially when the guy was shifting.... the tailights was the giveaway... the rims and the shifter **** both are pre-2k2....heck even the gauges were obvious...

one things for sure, you don't see any commercials with honda accords doing such.... the only honda comerical that sorta resembles is the acura tl where they chase the birds south towards warmer climate... heck the maxima would have made close to 4 roundtrips before the birds even got to the warmer water....
