Since we all have crappy paints on the MAx, do you guys recommend those plastic hood lip protector? The ones that clip on.

 

I bought it because it looks good on my car. Secondary to that, it does redirect some rocks away from the paint. The only drawback I can think of is I get more water spots on the hood if I do a quick wash and don't use the towel/chamois afterwards. Previously the air would blow more water off the hood.
