The #1 service problem with 2000 Maxima is . . .

. . . the Bose CD player. Per the Nissan service department. Mine stopped tracking properly after about 10 months.

I also vote for warped rotors. I'm thinking about taking the foglights out and running tubes to keep the rotors cool. Maybe that would stop them from warping.

Your not lying about that one!! Highway driving has killed the front of my Max and I hate all the paint chips.....even the windshield has so many nicks and scratches. Hopefully Nissan will learn something from this.

I drive 95% on highways! I have so many paint scratches on my hood that if you touch up everyone of them, it will no longer be a sunlit sand. Try to touch that front bumper, finish smoootheness is gone..like a sandpaper. I meant what can we do, Nissan dealer gave me a can of touch-up paint..I should open them a can of woop-*** for seeling me cheapo made car.

When you slow your car down and as you apply the brakes you will feel your car rock or vibrate some in the front end. That's what they call Warpin' (southern term)
