Whats the story with these things? These are the only 9003 lights I can find in any of the shops local to me.

They say they are supposed to give off the appearance of Euro cars headlights but I tend to doubt it. Wouldn't you need to swap out your fogs also if you popped these in so you wouldn't have mismatched lights?

Also heard that these cool blues sort of stink in the snow and fog or rain.....?

Then how come in the Max FAQ's

the Cool Blues from Sylvania get a really good rating as far as increased visiblity ?

Just razzing you man...Can we doubt what is in the Faq's?

might be worth the 20.00 for the 2 pack to see for myself I guess

I had the Cool Blue in my last Max - a 96' and have them in my wifes 4-Runner now. I like these bulbs but it depends on what your looking for, if you want the HID look - forget it, to get this look your gonna have to give up some light output. The cool blues have a slight bluish tint but put of a very white light "seeming" to be brighter but with a little less light output - but like I said, I like them. I'm looking at getting possibly the PIAA Superwhites for my 2K Max for the headlights and Fogs - I don't think there as "blue" but may give better light output?

Just my 2-cents

1. 10-year-old thread.

2. If you can't figure out how to change a headlight bulb, you've got some bigger issues than just that my friend. It's not hard.

I've had them....they don't give enought light on the road, especially in the rain.

Have had HIDs from hidextra for over a year now and they are light night and day.

Ummmm 10 year old thread......
