I've got a 93 Maxima SE that's been great. I bought a 99 Maxima with 17K miles that gave me a few minor, but annoying problems (check engine lights, squeeks and rattles, etc) before someone rearended me and totaled it.

I'm thinking of buying a 2002 Maxima, but wanted to know what sort of problems other people have had on these newer (2000+) to see if there's anything I should be looking out for.

If you get a 2002 maxima, be ready for some serious speed, luxury, quality, room, smoothness, ect. ect.
