Took my 2000 GLE in for service at Melloy in ABQ, NM with a list of items to check including the 22k check. List included transmission slipping between 1st & 2nd gear; windshield wiper control incremental switch doesn't work, a/c isn't as cold as it once was and various others.

The service receipt reflected that indeed they had checked the transmission & found no problems with shifting between 1st & 2nd, HOWEVER the comment "transmission is due for servicing" was tagged on the end. Can anyone tell me just what that means?

the only thing that can be serviced in the transmission on a regular basis would probably be the transmission fluid. Even that would probably not need to be replaced until at least 30k miles. I say the dealer is trying to **** with you..
