This is a very minor problem, but nevertheless still strange.I was cleaning the inside of my car (2k1 Gle) the other day and noticed a plastic thing in the carpet. Then i noticed they were everywhere imbeded in the carpet. The plastic thing looks just like the one the stores use to put price tags on clothes. Anyone else notice this, is ithis the way Nissan makes the carpet stay in place because it looks really cheap.

My '97 has about a dozen of those little critters. Guess they multiply over time.

Are they dangerous?

I think they were just there to hold the plastic down on the carpets when it comes from the factory. I doubt they serve any further purpose, although does anyone know if we can get carbon fibre replacements?

Those were removed when they stripped all of that plastic stuff off of the exterior and interior of the car since my was completely "covered", like it just came off the truck. I found one or two "dead" ones laying on the carpet as if they pulled/plucked them out and dropped a few.

I would cut them and remove them. My carpet hasn't flow out yet.
