! Fog Light Help !
I just spent the last 30 min on trying to change the fog light bulb in my Maxima!!! Crap ... the 4th Gen was 10X easier!!!
I've managed to get my arm / hand in behind the plastic guard!!!! What I can't seem to do is "push the fog light out"
And I don't really want to!!!
I'm thinking of just replacing the BULB while the Foglight is STILL attatched, gonna do it BLIND and by Feel! !!!!! Thing is ... I can't seem to take the bulb out!!!!
How does the Mechanism work?? Do U TWIST the SOCKET?? or is there some Push tabs??? or DO I need to SQUEEZE anywhere??? I really really need help on taking out the Bulb without Taking the ENTIRE Foglight out!!
Thanx,
Empz

If you look in there between the plastic shield and the fender you can see how the fog light is sitting in there. There are two or three "prongs" which are holding it in. I used a Phillips screwdriver to apply pressure and push them out. They slid right out. Be sure to catch them on the other side, though, because they'll pop right out!
this may sound stupid, but...
Just to make sure you're starting correctly...
You first need to remove two screws and ~2 clips from underneath the car in order to gain access to the light assembly.
There is a single screw at the base of the light assembly holding the fogs in place, which must also be removed.
The fog lights are not ready to pop out the front, but this can be somewhat difficult to do. I pushed off and on for at least an hour, not getting them to budges, but not wanting to damage the car.
Finally (this is the stupid, but successful part), I grabbed a hammer, taped each once lightly, and they came out easily.
