Can I get tint and do it at home with nice results?

I despreately needed to tint my car. However, I asked a guy and he is charging 200 bucks to do it at his shop.

Now, I am wondering if I could do tints at home. The back windows and windshield will be a paint to do for sure.

Will I get some good results at home? Is it that hard?

What about some Chrome tints?

Don't do! And don't tint your windshield either. $200CDN is about right for a tint. Just pay it.

Go ahead and do it if what you want is ghetto tint.

I know that most of us are not loaded with cash, but tint is one area where you dont want to compromise. Unless the tint place is charging you outrageous price, just get it done professionally.

Don't do it. I tried tinting my '91 Corolla myself, it didn't look pretty.

Get it done professionally, its worth it.

First of all there is nothing WRONG with tinting the front windshield as long as you dont make it too dark or make it so that impairs your night vision.

Secondly you COULD tint it yourself, that is dependant on wheather you have the patience and the skill to lay tint. First of all most people dont, I am not promoting myself, but I can do it. Just it is very hard to cut and lay it out without maying any krinks or bubbles for the first time.

I would either get it done, it do some test tinting on home windows and see how well you can do it, if you do choose to go that route, email or private message me, I can give you tips and tricks to how to do it right.
