Damn I want to get Springs, but I aint paying for Shocks. Yeah I am cheap, plus I want to maintain my ride AS MUCH as stock as possible. So it is either the Progress or H&R with stock shocks/struts.

Unless the stock shocks/struts are less than $200.

those springs lower you 2" right? That is quite a bit, and the stock struts are probably not able to take it... they shouldn't go bad so early, but given the circumstances... maybe

its 1.7/1.5" front/rear.....its not like they're constantly groaning, but whenever i go over speedbumps i can hear em, when im going up/down off of a driveway i can hear em....ride quality isnt horrible so im prolly gonna hold off a lil while longer......

There needs to be at least one person that has ridden in both the Progress and H&R equipped Max's. Right now it seems like I'm leaning a little toward Progress because I don't think that the H&R's will give me a low enough drop. Can anyone help us!!

haha that sucks i had the same problem! at first it was only my front left one and after about 2 more months both struts were blown! it sucks if u keep driving like that u will notice a terrible ride quality it will feel floatier than the stock set up! i just recently put on the tokico blues and no more noise and a nice stiff car that handles awesome! if u need the tokicos i can get them for 280 all around! PM me if u need them Maxedout2g i can hook u up if u want! install was easy as hell i did it in 2 1/2 hours and i have never messed with springs before either and i had the manual spring compressor! let me know!

280? wow, pretty good.....im actually leaning toward koni's or kyb agx's though cuz i heard tokz r gone in 2-3 years...but nobody has verified this...im prolly gonna roll w/ this setup for now, and maybe for a long while, cuz i wanna go w/ either y-pipe or underbody light kit rite now...i dunno what to do, cuz ive been getting smoked pretty badly past couple days and wanna improve on that, but if my car looks gangsta dont really need tha speed...im leaning towards underbody lights though....w/ the ninja kit and 18 or 19" rims i be rolln like WHOA!
