now that's loud!

I know someone posted on this before, but not much ever became of it...

Ok, Brand new 2K1 Max SE, I'm putting premium in, it has like 2500 miles on it. Running beautifly. Last night it got cold and rained a lot. I've never head my engine that loud before!! At 25k rpms it sounded like a NASCAR! well, little overstated, but you get the drift, and I had let it warm up before I drove! Today I drove it a little and the noise is gone (now warm in the 60s or so)... am I gonna hear that noise all winter!?!?

There's your problem. Redline is at 6.8K rpms so you must have blown your engine.

Yo Irvine, just curious how the Greddy sounds on the Max. I want to get it, but a little concerned about the noise level...

How is the sound at 2k RPM? WOT? Thanks man.

well..this would be soo much easier to explain if you lived nearby..
without having a recorded sound file of my exhaust note, i guess it's pretty hard to say how loud it is...it's also very subjective thing too. but the exhaust drones alot in 2K and at WOT, it's pretty loud especially past around...the 5000 rpm...
