Rim Question....

I am in the market for some 18" rims, and wanted to know what the biggest off-set I can have is? I want as much of the 'deep dish' look as possible. Thanks in advance gentlemen ( and ladies )

Off topic but, In your sig picture, the aluminum cover with the Nissan emblem, yours rises above the oil cap and has a grey stripe around the 3000. Did this piece only come with the 2K1's. My 6 is a 2K and doesn't have this cover but has a red stripe saying something like 3000.

The engine cover came with the AE models.... you can buy the cover and bolt it onto your own engine if you like

I don't know how much it is.... but you can call up Dave Burnette at Town North Nissan on Monday and he should be able to hook you up. His number is in the parts list sticky thread

i think they go for around 75-100 bones for the AE cover. it wasn't worth it to me, so i stuck with the regular one.

It depends on how wide a rim. If you are going for 18x8 I would not go anything less than a 40. I'm buying 18x7.5's and would prefer to get them with a 38 offset but they only come in 45. I heard from Russ on another post that our stocks are +45. I would really watch out if you're getting 35's. Better get narrow tires if you do. Read the thread about the 17's turning radius. There's some info about wheels rubbing.
