(Again)SC vs. TC

How many of you would go with a turbocharger application over a supercharger if it would cost you 4000-5000??? compared to the 3500's for the S/C

afterall, the maxima is FWD and its engine can only handle so much...so is it really worth it...

turbo charger mainly because its flexiable and gets better gas mileage. (sort of) and besides, the VQ already has enough Torque off the line... just wait for the turbo to spool up and your gone. Plus turbos more flexiable and fun to play with.

I thought that the SC gets better gas mileage than a TC because the SC works faster the higher RPMs you go. SC is better. Turbo is too complicated and expensive. I am not sure but I hear the main reason people like TC is because of the torque that comes early in the powerband and that there is more potential with a TC. Correct?

I meant no turbo for us yet. I haven't been gone that long have I? I know about the Stillen SC too, but I'm still somewhat reluctant to get it due the horrific amount of problems and complaints. I still have till Feb. for that decision though. C'mon Hogan....

thinking about getting a guy to custom fab a turbo and its no where near what people have been saying on the boards i.e. 5-10g's

a small turbo would be about equivalent to a supercharger...without the parasitic drag...right??
