Bought my first Maxima

Well, after renting many Maximas over the years, I finally made the splurge to get one for myself. I got a 2001 SE loaded w/o leather for 24,800. It had a sticker price of 28,000. Plus, the 3.9% financing did not hurt either. It is super black and looks great for now.

A proud owner of a new Maxima. Of all the cars I researched, these had the best reliability ratings from users. Only time will tell...

Don't try to resist. Modding is inevitable.

Congrats! I think you have bought the best sport sedan under $30,000. I'm still amazed at how well this car is built mechanically. It sounds like you got the car below invoice. Enjoy the car. Don't be pressured into modding the car because the car is plenty fast as is. But if you get the urge to mod this org is the best place to learn from experienced modders.

Did you get the 5 speed or auto?

I got the automatic. I do not plan on buying any mods at this time, but who knows down the road.
