I thought Nissan said October release. Well?

 

When i contacted Several dealers the reply I gopt is Late October

3rd or fourth week

 

The 6spd went into production October 1st. As we speak there is a big **** boat of 6spd max's being sent over from Japan, after that they have to load them up on trucks and drive them across the country. A Exact date is hard, it really depends on location and how fast there boat is. I would say the west coast will be getting them any day now, east coast is atleast a 1-1.5 weeks away from getting them.

 

What about the HLSD release date? Nissan said 12/1 but I wonder if that date has slipped.

 

Not sure if it has slipped, but if it does it will only be a limited slip. (Yeah OK, it was a bad pun, but you set it up)

12/1 was an estimated date... Nissan has not confirmed to dealers if they will be able to make that now, but have told dealers that there may be delays. So there hasn't been any official date confirmed to dealers, my dealer from the wording of the update he received, only expects it to a couple weeks late.

 

Any idea if insentives and dealer prices for the 6 speed will be as good in December(or when ever they arrive) as they are now for the autos?

 

Well I think Nissan won't be having an incentives on maxima for a while. They rarely do. The only thing they might have going might be NMAC's special interest rate of 3.9%. Right now 2001 models have an incentive of $500.00 and the special rate, so in my opinion I think there won't be any incentives until the 2003's come.
