Carflector cool, carbon fiber for 5th gen?

I think the hood deflector looks pretty cool in combination with the speed grilles. Personally, I think the speed grille looks out of place, it's kind of too flashy and abrupt on the smooth lines of the Maxima. Adding the carflector adds to the agressiveness of the front fascia, so it all works together.

Where are you getting a carbon-fiber hood for a Maxima? Didn't know anyone made them for the 5th gen Maxima.

Cool I guess I didn't expect people that have the cash for Escalades to be driving Maximas...so how does that 345 bhp feel?

Doesn't matter, that thing is ugly. Besides, being that it's mesh, I'm sure it isn't sturdy.

It's not mesh, you're thinking of the Home Depot gutterguard. It's 5052 guage aluminum, and is rather sturdy. Probably more so than the original plastic grille. It also doesn't chip, like the original grille. Peace.

Thank you for the complements and suggestions guys. I try to help you all out with the best prices i can get. Yes of course I do make profit on these..... but to be honest with you, it is not as much as you think. If I wanted to make lots of money I would be selling Honda parts and would get rich real quick.

I think it looks very nice on that black max, and it seems sturdy. The price is not bad either, comes with the nissan logo?

TexMaximum,

I don't think the main grille comes with the Nissan Logo. I'm pretty sure you have to purchase that seperately.

Its hard to tell in the night pic but I put the chrome edging on the 3 horizontal rows on both sides of the emblem then I used small pieces for the 2 vertical rows. It gives the front of the max a very aggressive look.

Here's a pic with no flash.

Oh I also put 4 pieces on the lower valence.

Here's a pic of my old grill using the same mesh as is currently on the lower valence.

That's a pretty cool idea. Can you post some close-ups during the day? It's kind of hard to see in the pics you have. Don't worry, I won't copy-cat, just want a better look.
