CLUNK goes the RSB! BANG goes the hammer! No more CLUNKing!
rapp17 was complaining about some loud clunking coming from his RSB after going over some rough road. So today, when he got his UDP put in, when we had it up on the lift, we took a look.
Pictures of the results of the clunking can be found here: http://www.clee130.f2s.com/maxima/101301/pages/rsb1.htm

(You can see more pics of the meet starting from here: http://www.clee130.f2s.com/maxima/101301/)
In the pictures 1 and 2, you can see where the suspension hit the RSB bracket.
In picture 3, you can see how far the bracket has been bent downwards.
The problem is easily solved by simply moving the bracket to the right, as close to the 90 degree bend as possible.
And the bracket and the washer were bent back with a couple of wacks from the hammer.
No more clunking.

Who is the owner of that black 5th gen with the stillen kit? Just noticed a clunking noise coming from my Stillen RSB after 3 months of having it on. Could something have gotten loose?

Don't know ... we jsut saw it on the street. Go back under your car and check if all the bolts are tight. I have an Addco myself.

I'll check it tomorow, but from what i see, everything feels solid
and does not budge. I'll double check tom.
