You think us 5th gens have it bad

My brother's company's 2000 ES 300 had a blowout on one of the tires.
For a stock re92 potenza bridgestone tire for his wheel costed him 400 bucks.
That freakin sucks.

or he got jipped.
But it was retailed at 270 to 300 bucks.

Nah, it was around 290 for the tire, 70 for the install by the techs at Lexus, and another 40 for the special tire shine that they had to put on.

70 dollars for a FREAKIN INSTALL!?

40 dollar for shine? let me see, give me 10 bucks for a bottle of tire shine, and give me 10 cents for me to jack up your car and put your wheels on... that crap is unbelieveable.

OUCH!!!! $400 dollars$$$!!!!! I guess they think since you have a Lexus you must be Daddy Warbucks deep pockets Bling Bling. Right now I couldnt afford to pay 400 mexican dollars!!
