Ok guys in the last month i have added a new head unit, hids, and a new amp. And my lights have been dimming badly. They never did this before when i had HID's and a bumping system. But now it dims at low volumes when the bass hits.. Im almost positive i dont need a cap.. Im using only 480 watts of total power. Could this problem be related to the head or new amp?? Should i try re grounding both of them.. I also notice shocks after playing my stereo while car isnt running. Ill work on it and when i step out i get shocked like a biatch... Grounding problem im thinking... I checked it out with my lights off and my interior lights dim when bass hits so i dont think its hid related.. Any ideas??

I thought of that, that may be it but doesnt explain why i get the shiet shocked out of me everytime i get out of the car...

And another thing, its getting colder and all these annoying rattles are coming back... i remember these... I didnt miss them at all

hm.. i get the sh*t shocked out of me EVERYTIME i get out of my car so i just use my foot to close the door now. Did you get shocked before you had your stereo in?
