Why would you want to do that....the passenger should have to wait, it is a priviledge to ride in such a fine automobile

Yes, please let us know!

I am dying to have both (driver and passenger) go up and down at one touch. My Ford Probe lowered (passenger and driver) at one touch and its one of the feature I miss most. That and being able to toss it around like a go cart!

Yeah, I have ALWAYS wanted all my Window switches like my old 98 740iL, everything auto UP AND DOWN. That is hot.

I dont think you can do a auto pass switch since I was looking at the ESM and noticed that the driver's side actually has a sensor on the window track to turn off the motor when it gets to the bottom.

Well, you guys figure out a way to do it. And I THINK he meant from the driver's side, he wants the auto up/down pass window. I personally like the new Benz 430 with the auto open/close of ALL the windows and moonroof with the touch of ONE button! Very sweet.

I thought about that one, too. Even ordered in the '02 RH switch. Then I realized the '02 LH switch is different, and over $100! One would think that the RH switch is wired through the LH. Guess I could plug in the '02 RH & see what happens.

I remember someone a long time ago tried this. He bought a I30 switch and it didn't work, and if I rememmber correctly the switch was fried after trying it. You would have to get the whole motor, and switch from an I30 to get this feature to work on a maxima.

yeah...

I guess it went arwy or we would have heard more.. I know it was a I30 switch. I think it was the same guy that did the first auto mirror (black car w/mas mgr's in LA)

I thought it might be a current sensing switch.. actually I got re-inspired about this after looking at the schematic, obviously I didnt look close enough :/

I think that there is also a load limiter that is built into the window lift motor on 2k2's and recent I30's..but I might be wrong. I remember someone trying this in the past and he fried the switch. Would be nice to add this feature, though.

DONT DO IT

I am the guy who tried the I30 switch. Fried the switch and blew $80 quickly. If someone is electrically inclined, I am sure there is a way.. The I30 switch takes its power from a different wire in the same harness. YOu would need a schemagic for the harnesses in an I30 and max.

There's a window position sensor on the driver's side that isn't in the passenger side. While it looks like it's bolted onto the motor, I'll bet you have to buy the whole driver's side motor (and the switch) to do the conversion.

BTW, I've had to reset the window position sensor twice since I've owned the car. The dealer will be happy to do it for 90 bucks, but it's really simple if you're not afraid to open the door up...
