VQ30 Rods & Pistons

I searched and I could not find anything out there so here we go.

Im looking to build the internals of my motor and I cant find any aftermarket rods, pistons, or a crank for my VQ30DE. Do any of you have any suggestions where I can get some and who makes the best? Im going to go with the JWT S1 Cams and valve springs, If that info helps you make a better suggestion.

Thanks Brandon

if i didn't know any better, i'd say the block is exactly the same as the 4th gen, so that is what you get
parts are listed for 95-01 for the block, not the head
one site i found simply using google.. search harder

I have talked to the guys at importperformanceparts.net and they have told me that their engine kit will work with the 2000 and 2001 maxima. These seem to be the only internals for the VQ30 that I could find when I googled it. I am actually saving up to give this kit a try.

To the OP, are your plans? A LOT of ho can be gained without such endeavors.

What are you doing, raising the CR, dropping the CR? MAJOR boost re: rods, since these VQ's have proven to handle enough for the sane minded FWD d vier.

Im going to boost it with a one off turbo kit built by Unnatural Inc. My goal is 350-400whp. Have any ideas?

Right now Im making 241whp / 315wtq that was before I added the Y-Pipe so its a little more now.

I'd go cams/heads. IM could be tricky re: dual MAF/TB set-up. But even the SAFC can split MAF signal.

But then there's the TB situation.

Ya thats spraying on the dyno with only a 75 shot, it adds 63whp 115wtq. I havent hit it sence the 255 walbro and the 125 jets.

I have $4800 plus my monthly spending money to build a motor so I was just seeing what your recommendations where. Im going for 375+whp boosting, and im also planing on spraying the intercooler. Im going to take my time and do alot of research on this build so I wont have it done till next summer. Im also going to paint, polish and chrome everything. The motor is going to look great and perform even better.
