Has anybody replaced their shifter bushing with after market ones in the 5.5 gen and have you felt a big difference...Sorry Soonerfan if this issue has already been discussed in the past but all of the previous search links are down and redirect me to random topics.

 

I just did the 2 main bushings, and not the 4 "platform" bushings (waiting for my garage to get to a tolerable temp, stupid AZ). Big improvement, well worth the $24 from Cattman.

 

it has been discussed...by me. i was one of the first to get the ES bushings from Brian (Cattman). got them 2 years ago

 

i still haven't done the one under the hood but I got the other 5 in, it makes a difference, it's certainly worth the $25. The cable shifter just feels terrible no matter what, it's one of the things I hate about the car.

 

Many people have replaced their shifter bushings with the Energy Suspension ones.
