My Window SQUEKS!!!
Whats up,
i have automatic windows and stuff and whenever i roll em down (my side and passenger side) it squeks LOUUUUUD from halfway down to all the way down. i roll em down all the time when i cruise around local roads and stuff...and the glass has 35% tints(not done from factory but properly done nonetheless).. think i should jus go to the dealer?? this should be covered in the warranty rite??
thanx in advance people

go to Napa..
and get something called "sil-glide" I forget the name, I have some, used it last weekend. basically, is silicone lube for rubber. it is for windows and door gaskets.
Wipe the tracks down with a wet towel to get the dirt off (often that alone is enough to stop the squeal). Spray some on the towel, then wipe on and into the tracks. Dont spray it directly onto the tracks and watch the overspray, it can discolor plastic or paint (its clear and i guess it would make 'wet looking' dots if left on paint). I do the max and pathfinder about every 6 months. The back door/hatch gasket squeaks on the PF, this helps ALOT there.

it's most likely what the above posts are saying...but sometimes it's the connection between the glass and the raise/lower rail thing...don't know what it is called, but you might have to take it into the dealer for some service if the lube doesn't work. It should be covered though, tint or no tint.
