does anyone have a how to on taking apart the middle console. thanks in advance

You mean for the radio and climate control? Check the stickies in the audio section.

the center console where the ebrake and cup holders are. i dropped a few things in there and would like to get it out. i probably have a lot of change in there too. i have already searched the how to forum but all the links are bad.

its really quite easy..there are a few screws on either side. just start doing it and you should be able to figure it out

You will also have to remove the shifter trim. Pull the liner out of the ashtray and remove the screw underneath. Then remove the shifter trim carefully. It is clipped in.

besides unscrewing the ashtray...is everything else clip?

is there an easy way to pull off the shifter trim?, because I am having trouble getting it to come out, it seems it is in there pretty tight

cover a screwdriver with a towel and put it in between the dash and the trim. Be firm but gentle.
