Hello everyone
The gas attendant forgot to tighten the gas cap couple of days ago (cant pump own gas in NJ )
it has been about 5 days and i have filled the tank up 2 more times, but the SES still hasnt gone away

i had a diagnostic run and it says its because of the gas cap

and i just being paranoid? (It has been about a week)
or is there something wrong such as a crack in the gas cap?


also, does anyone know if the blacked out projector headlights with halos sold on eBay are any good?

Ebay headlights suck.

Change out the gas cap. It may take some time for the SES light to go out. What was the code from the scanner?

as for the pumping, its one of the gay laws here (theres a law here saying its illegal to carry ice cream in your back pocket on a sunday lol)
really messed up since they always be topping it off and spilling drops on the side, etc

 

It might be a stored code. Try clearing it.
