It will work, but the muffler is not direct bolt on, it will have to be welded on.

What are you looking for?

I like bolt ons as opposed to weld ons - there's no point.

Just got back from Meinike... The guy told me that he would do a race series magnaflow muffler welded onto a new 2.5' b pipe for $600 which would bypass the afterburner cat. I then said okay what about adding a Y pipe and he said you dont want to do that because then you eliminate the other 2 cats and that just causes you to get a check engine light and doesnt add any performance power. he said all the performance power would be realized by just doing the muffler and b pipe. We then scanned the check engine lught and it said error code " engine running lean Bank 1" He said a dealer o2 sensor is about $140 and that if i buy it he would throw it on for free if I decide to do the muffler and pipe. Is this a good deal??

For reference, I went to Meineke 2 weeks ago with the Magnaflow of my choice in hand and they made up a new 2.25" b pipe and mounted the magnaflow for $200.

Summitracing.com and it was right around $160 with shipping I believe, I need to update my sig however I just took another look at the setup and they cheaped out and ran 2" to the muffler and expanded it to 2.25" for the muffler inlet...oh well I probably wouldn't realize a difference if it was 2.25" anyways.

I looked at that site all i see is dual tipped mufflers but with dual inlets as well... isnt our b pipe single inlet. Also I need a new o2 sensor in bank 1... the guy at meinike said its best to get it from the dealer rather than somewhere else.

The part # on the magnaflow is mpe-14816 through summit: http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

I haven't looked but you might try ebay for OEM o2 sensors if those are the best ones, I am a Chevy guy prior to this Max and the best o2 sensors were the stock parts but waaaaaay cheaper on ebay.

WTF... For $600 you can get an entire Cattman Cat-Back, as for the y-pipe... It is called an O2 Sim, look it up.

Keep the main Cat and get a Y-pipe and get rid of the pre-Cats(front).
