Automatic seat stuck...

How easy is it for something to get stuck in the track? The only thing the power seat won't do is go back and forth. Anyone have this problem before?

If you just hear the motor it may be the actuating cable. easy fix at least it was on my old cougar. Just unbolt the seat raise it up remove one end of the cable and see if it is working if not, then just grab one from one of the other motors until you can replace it. The cables will look like plastic tubes comming from the motors.

Its very common with Maximas. Some people say that banging with a screwdriver on the motor sometimes make it work again. I think there is a how to on how you can unscrew the seat and reatach wires or motor that has bad connection.

Check the rail to see if anything is in the way or connectors may be loose.
