Front Left Speaker Problem

For some reason my front left speaker keeps on going in and out everytime I drive, especially when I take right turns or merge to the right on the highway. I was wondering if there could be a problem with my speakers or it's just loose. Also, how do you get to the speaker on the driver side, sorry I'm new at Maximas and have no clue.

The connections are probably just loose. Use the newbie thread or sooner is going to have a breakdown.

Well. Wake up and smell the Maxima, this ain't the DSM forums.

We started that thread for a reason - newbies need to learn how to research before asking dumb questions.

OP shoulda consulted audio forums and did a poorman's search.

If OP was old school, he woulda taken apart the panel and fiddled with it already - there once was a time when forums weren't around.

Good point. These forums are a lot more organized and I feel if you do have a serious problem it gets attention more rapidly than on any other forum because the main pages aren't all cluttered up with BS.

well the thing also is that you guys are going off topic. I still have this problem and... i took off the door panel and checked everything out, it looked all right and i even tried to tighten the wiring into the speaker some more but it's still not making as much noise, like sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't, it's kind of weird... Do you think it's the wiring or speakers? And has anyone else had this kind of problem?

Everyone who has a Bose has this problem. It's a bad connector design in the head unit. Search for 'bose cutout fix'

It's so difficult to fix, and I have no idea how to get it out.

I have this exact same problem too and I am not looking forward to fixing it at all. I will have to wait till I get home from school. Which will be at least 3 weeks. Oh well looks like I don't have much of a choice.

Good to hear that you fixed it. Doesn't sound like a permanent fix though.

Yep, I got the same problem.
It's apparently covered under the extended warranty.

We get it. Replace your stock speakers with aftermarket. Reviving multiple threads with the same statement is an extremely annoying habit.
