4th gen--->5th gen but Need help!

i've been a 4th gen max'r for a while, and i decided to get something newer and stay in the nissan field. So i came across a GOOD deal that i couldnt pass up a 2000 maxima GLE (fully loaded, heated seats too) for $2000 w/200K. Drives smooth, interior is MINT condition, and body is Great shape for that many miles.

But theres one problem..
While driving it wont rev 4k rpm? like its holding back or chocking!! while idling it wont rev 5k rpm? it has a CEL and i checked it and it had 2 codes EGR malfunction, and System too lean bank 1?

I was thinkin it could be neither one, something like the MAF sensor??

thanks in advance
-moo

Yeah its most likely the MAF. If you decide to purchase it, DO a whole tune up on that car.. Clean out throttle body and all

Might want to take a look at the cat converter as well if you are having trouble revving and accelerating past a certain RPM.
