Coming from the 4th gen world, just got an 02 6-speed now. Got a set of 4th gen H&R's and KYB-AGX's from the 4th gen garage.

Does anyone know if this whole set can fit the 5th gen's without much of a fight?

I tried research, but most of the threads contain links that don't work. So far, according to Cattman's website, it says that Cattman sells the AGX-5, which are 4th gen AGX's modified to fit the 5th gens. It indicates that these 4th gen AGX's need the 1995-99 strut mounts in order for them to work onto the 5th gens. Is that true? Anyone can confirm this?

Any input is appreciated up front.

You need 4G top hats and/or 4G knuckles - not worth it.

 

But that really doesn't make any sense to me, though. It's a 5.5 gen car, and need 4th gen top hats/knuckles? So all and all, I should just buy a front set from Cattman? Really looking forward to drop this baby right now...thanks maxboost925
