Will a 5th gen intake fit a 5.5 gen Maxima?

I had a 2000 and am selling my intake off of it. I had somebody with a 2003 interested in buying it.....will it fit? Stillen's website lists a different part number so I was assuming it wouldn't work.

yes and no. An '03 can use it, but they'll have to plug the two small vacuum hose pipes, since the 3.5 only has a single vac hose, not three like the 3.0.

I don't recall doing anything with vacuum hose pipes on mine....it just bolted right up to the intake mainfold.

My bad, not right to the manifold....to the MAF housing......the Stealin consists of nothing more than the filter and velocity stack.

If we are talking about the Stillen intake, there is nothing different. Stillen doesn't offer a midpipe, and that is the only place where the intake (post TB) is different.

The most important thing in this situation is MAF bolt pattern, in which case it will match up (00-03).

yes... everyone knows that the stillen offers no mid-pipe. Some didnt like it and i asked what brand they do like. Yes the bolt pattern is the same but the other mounting bracket does not line up.

Your bracket looks the same b/c your intake is for a 5.5 gen, correcT? The question was a 5 gen. Stillen installed on a 5.5 gen. The 00-01 has a different bracket.

I've used a 5th gen Stillen intake in my 5.5gen. I've used a 5th gen berk midpipe and bracket with a Stillen intake. I've used a 5th gen stock airbox (not midpipe) in my 5.5 gen.

So then this means that the Stillen is identical for both 5 and 5.5 gens? Wow, 200-2003 Maximas can use the same intake of it is a Stillen unit?
