2002-03 signal light question

.... so what im trying to do is instead of having the signal lights off all the time and blink on and off wen i use the signal... i want them to stay on at all times like the parking light but blink off and then back on wen i use my signals... any attempts for that or no?

u would probably have to rewire it to give it power after the blinker unit and put a relay on it to power it through the unit when the switch is hit
not that bad if u know the basics of circuitry

come to think of it, it'll probably have to be a dual relay setup

some one has done something similar in the 4th gens, using a different size bulb and harness for the bulb

pretty much instead of having a bulb that only turns on and off (7440 bulb)
they replaced it with one that stays on and just turns brighter for the blinker...(7443 bulb in our brake lights)

i know this isnt wat u wanted although your idea i'm sure would look better, but its similar and its been done before in the 4th gens. ill post up link if i find it.
