This is a new one !

One after another, just got the flywheel done and fixed FINALLY.

I thought this problem was casued by the flywheel but it isnt..

THe car has a hard vibration.

Ex, when the car goes under load i feel the car start shaking BAD... but once i get off the gas its gone... i could be crusing at 80MPH and NOTHING.. but as soon as i give the car GAS it starts wobbling... now at slower speeds i hear something under the car toward the front end making a weird noise..

like somethign rotating and hitting something when given slight gas..

i know i need rotors and brakes but this wouldnt casue it

i know it isnt the flywheel or clutch since there a BRAND NEW flywheel and clutch in there installed by maximum tunning (and yes its been doing this B4 the install)..

any input.. i really wanna get to fix it tommorw since its my day off.

Thanks,
-Qazi

Sounds like inner CV-Joint boots are torn. Those can be checked for free, rule them out first.

I had a crazy issue like this on my 3.0

first thing i need to ask you is if you have an underdrive pulley, if you do then i can help you out.

I had the same problem with my 3.0, no one was able to figure it out, then i just kept driving it and i figured it out.

It was my motorstorm underdrive pulley, its a two peice pulley, and at point were the two peice were colted together, it lossned up.

If you dont have a pulley, its most liky your axles

what brand do you have, cause i had to motostorm one, im just curious, but if its loose bent or unbalanced it will cause vibration.

Does this occur at idle or only while driving? Brake-torque your engine to place it under load without moving to see if its simply motor-centric (and nothing to do with the drive axles).

it only happens when drivign under load.

Changed BOTH axles.. put back the STOCK UDP.. balanced the tires.. put brand new rotors and brake pads in, checked the wheels bearing.. EVERYTHING is GOOD. Im stumped. Im sitting in the shop right now with the car on the lift..

Damm, i broke the tensionor before to, **** was pritty hard to change cause its impossible to get a hand in there....

Since its only doing it underload, its something related to the tranny or motor i assume?

The only other thing i can think of is the wheel bearings, but those would make lots of noise if they were shot?

I am having the exact same problem as you man, I tried looking at the axles and they were good, then someone told me that it was the strut mount...checked that and it was good, this has been one of the only problems that I cannot figure out, and also it only does it when the car has load on it...but let me know if you find out or I'll let you know if I find it out...

Seems there's a few of us with this problem. Have you found the solution? A mechanic friend suggested to me it was the motor mounts.

I don't think it's the motor mounts becuase mine just started doing it badly whenever I lowered it and I wouldn't think that would affect them, also I just put new motor mounts in about 40,000-50,000 miles ago...but you never know it might be...
