It only happens in the morning or when its cold out side for a few minutes until the engine gets hot. its a loud squeak and it happens only when i turn the wheel . the belt is fairly new and the PS fluid is clean why does this happen

power steering pump could be going bad

 

check your belt again esp. if its only doing it in cool or cold weather it may just need to be tightened up a little.
