I need some assistance on the installing the chrome door locks I purchased from DaveB. I searched here and google but could not find anything. I know there used to be another maxima forum website that had the install on there but I can't remember the website's name. Thanks again for anyone assistance.

Door handles? Interior or exterior?

Interior.

 

Remove door panel. Instructions will be found in stickies of audio section. You'll then see I believe, two bolts, that hold the handle to the door. Remove them, turn the handle so the metal rods rotate outwards, and remove plastic retainer clip from the door handles so that the rods can be removed. Swap to new handle and repeat steps in backwards order.

Once you get in there you should be able to figure it out.

 

if you're looking on how to replace interior door handles...
remove handle trim
remove windshield button trim
remove door panel
remove handle "cup" held by 4 clips
unscrew 10 mm bolt
slide the handle assy. backwards
remove from door shell
remove the two rods

To install"
follow instructions above in reverse.

I did this mod, too. I found my parts from a wrecked GLE. If you need assistance or any more help, I'll be glad to help. Here is a pic of one my doors with the handle installed.
