Weird rubbing sound
Weird rubbing sound
I have a rubbing sound when there is a load on my rear suspension and when I turn left. It is coming from the drivers side rear wheel well. It sound like rubber on metal. It sounds like "whe whe whe whe". It is not a wheel bearing because I have heard the problem before. I only happens when its cold/cool (below 55 degrees F). I am lowered on illuminas and eibach and have about 80k miles on the eibachs and 30k miles on the illuminas. I did not replace the rear suspension bearings (the plastic POS bearing between the car and the top of the strut). The sound is only audible at 15mph and less. I bought all new boots with the shocks so they should be good. Do i need to lube my rear shocks. In addition I cant feel the noise (like how you can feel worn wheel bearings). Matt Blehm did my install so i am sure it was done correctly. One last thing is that my rear end bushing have been filled with polyurethane via Mr. Blehm. This was done prior to the release of the energy suspension rear bushing release.
