StS Help 5.5 6 Speed

I have just purchased a Fast Shift Sts its used so no instructions but after I installed it I cant put the car in reverse it seems as if it cannot grab reverse like the shifter doesnt go back enough to grab all the way ( the shifter moved back instead of forward, i dont know if this is normal because the 4th gens move forward with a short shifter). Here are pics of the Sts any help greatly appreciated and FastShift.com no longer exists.

let your car roll a little bit. sometimes the gears dont line up. just rolling a bit usually helps

make sure you properly hooked up the two linkage lines.

Other wise, like the other guys said, let the car roll or give the car alil gas and it may pop in to place.

It also may feel like its not in gear , but remeber you have short shifter now so reverse will feel shorter as well. So it may as well be in gear.

Ok got it, ok got it to work I was pushing the linkage back (closer to the engine there by making the shifter go back too far) when I should have pulled it out (making the shifter move forward). Thanks for all your help guys.
