lowering susp question...

wasup fellows...alright, here is my situation:::I need new struts and i drive into queens every day (roads can get a little nasty), but since i know someone very well in the auto business he can get me either kyb or monroe struts very cheap...now i was thinking if i put eibachs in (everyone says they are stiff) i should go with the monroe because they are a softer spring, but im afriad they will be too soft...i love my stock feel of struts but i hate the wobble...now i was thinking if i got kyb (not adjustable) they would be way to harsh on queens roads BUT that would limit bottoming out because of how stiff they are..i am not sure wat i would like to do..any suggestionss??? THANKS

Any of those 2 will give you a better ride then what you have currently. Anytime you mod the stock suspension you lose the smoothness/height(drop). Are you already lowered or want to go lower? If you arent lowered I would stick with stock...or move to a different state because NY roads full out suck IMHO

Monroe Sensatracs are pretty nice with stock SE springs! Is your max SE or GLE/GXE?

so i think im leaning towards monroe struts with eibach springs....sounds good because eibach is stiff and monroe is a little softer so the ride quality should be fine

so does yours, it should be "sucks"

as for the topic: i would be worried about bottoming out the monroes. not much point to upgrading(dropping) the suspension if you have to drive slow because you're worried about hitting bumps...
