question about clutch pedal adjustment

I just installed a fidanza light weight flywheel and a act heavy duty pressure plate and street disc clutch. I also replaced the clutch master and slave and added a stainless steel clutch line. I used a power bleeder to pressurize the system. The system is fully bled. My main question is how do I go about getting rid of the play in the clutch pedal. There is about 3 inches of play in the pedal.

The pedal uses the cruise control switch as an upper support. What you can do, is: withdraw the elctrical connection from the switch, loose the retention nut; then screw the switch clockwise till the play is gone, then tighten the nut. Make sure there is still a little play (around few mm), to avoid the risk of slipping. Good luck

If i recall correctly, there is a retention nut on the master cylinder where it extends through the firewall/bulkhead/footwell. If you adjust this it will change the engagement point and the freeplay. three inches on the pedal is probably about 1cm on the adjustment nut. When i get a chance i will check in the FSM for you and see what the deal is exactly.
