Going to dealer to have them listen to a noise that sounds like an electric motor sound when the car is running AND right after I turn it off....fuel pump? Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this on a 2k.

 

I can here mine clearly when I'm accelerating, an when I take my feet off of the gas pedal it stops!, but sometimes continues to whine as the transmission shifts during it's cycle. I will point this out to the salesperson, who has his favorite service techs on hand, to take a look at this tommorrow, as I am scheduled for a 7500 mile service interval.

 

Please let me know what they find out. I can hear mine too when I'm on the gas, guess it's just more noticable when I turn it off or at an idle.

 

and the whining gets louder when the a/c is on..
