Off topic, how hard was ths steering wheel install? I want to swap my I35 wood/leather one like yours to the all leather Maxima one.

 

direct swap, all just plugs in. not heated, tho.

 

connectors do plug in, it's just that the pinout is different. out of 47 wires i had to redo about i'd say... 20.

LML, did you perform the steering wheel swap yourself? Think you can help me once I get mine?

 

FYI, there were also all-leather steering wheels for the I35. I have one. Might have been a sport-package only option as those are the only ones I've seen them in.

hit me up with the wiring diagram if u can... i did the project my self... but i stopped due to the military taking most of my life away... but the problem i had was the fact that wen i turned my headlights on the lights on the dash would shut off as well as the freaking temp guage never worked at all!!! but i think its cause i have an 01 and u pprobably have an 02 which made the wiring easier.... but hit me up with the info so i can match up the info with mine... hoping that ur wires and my wires are the same...
