Definitely need to do that too, the gauge cluster isn't very bright at night.

I'd like to do the Infiniti cluster but wiring up a tach on another car I used to have was scary enough.

Great job... I'm new and I wanted to start a new thread but I was unable to. Since this one is regarding the lights for the gauges, I thought I'd reply to this. Sorry if doing so is worng.

I have a 2001 Maxima SE and I noticed yesterday after I turned on the lights for the gauges and dash, my Fuel and Speedometer Gauges didn't light up. Everything else did and the dimmer switch works to darken/brighten everything but those 2 gauges. I'm not sure if this could be a fuse (but would a fuse control just those 2 gauges?) or if this could be an issue with the bulbs. It was quite cold yesterday as well, not sure if that's a factor or not. Please help if possible. Thank you very much, once I have the privileges I will post this question in the maintenance section.

You probably have a bulb that has burned out.
