its in my glove box.

ill just say it here

the brain is behind the radio. the wire runs from that to the glove box through existing holes. the control **** in where the coin thing is next to the shifter. for the display, i drilled a hole at the bottom of the ashtray piece for the cord.

Looks like a super clean install to me, that little cubby is a great place to put things. Even better for 6spd guys as the shifter is out of the way on the highway

I found it was easier to buy a new HU than buy one of those...

Spent $220 at crutchfield, got a new HU, Install kit and the HU came with an Ipod adaptor wire.

Icing on the cake, I spent $220 on this new HU sounds better than my stupid expenive Bose HU.

i have this with the screen ontop of the vents. wires go right along the HU and are hard to notice. have the brain and everything in the center console with wires hidden under the plastic. plugs into the cigarett lighter on the rear of the center console. have the controls to the right of the shifter near the little coin holders. i'm using the tape wire thing so it sounds better than the transmitter but am going to get the adapter thats made for the drive and play that plugs into the antenna for xmas. usually can find one at best buy thats opened. got mine like that for $60 works great no complaints.

I thought the reason my Bose system sucked was because of the speakers...boy was i wrong...I ended up putting the new Pioneer Avic-d3 in...Talk about night and day....10X better than the stock POS radio...

RLY? Are you using the stock Bose speaks, or did you swap them out, too? I think my Bose sounds great, but am ticked that I can't get my iPod in. I was looking at swapping heads with an Alpine unit, but was concerned that sound quality would go down.

The Bose HU sucks huge *****... As I said before, I just swapped the HU (left the Bose speakers) to a $200 Kenwood Headunit that even came with an Ipod wire and it sounds MUCH better than before.
