I saw the results, congrats, but, 50.095 for the fastest on Saturday?!! Everyone else was doing mid 40s!! Good job on not hitting any cones!

and day two, congrats on the second place finish! The above pic is for your collection, if you don't already have it.

Sometimes, i miss my Maxima...but, the novelty of 190bhp in a 1850lb shell has kinda worked that desire out of me.

Anyone else race their maximas? Any luck? Competitive?

Oh, Patrick, this is a funny picture

That is funny! What did you run in the 1/4mile that day? 16+ That Supra was probably messing around with you and doing a warm up run.

It's a friend of mine. He started to autocross his Maxima on more of a regular basis. He's a pretty funny guy so he shouldn't get offended (hopefully)

Yes, he was just getting a feel for the track, but he still LOST to a 100bhp, extreme blow-by, horrible drag racing alignment, CRX!!

My best run of the night was a slow 15.80@89mph with 2.4 60'.

In the past three months my CRX has:
Experienced valve float.
began knocking.
Smokes all the time, not just on start up.
I've lost 6mph in my traps.
and broke some teeth off of my third gear.
and i still ran a 15.80, hehehhe. I'm soooo happy i got a new engine.

Re: A picture of some idiot racing his Maxima with chromies...

50.0??? 43.2??? Well, that's the best I could do with the CRACKED Y-Pipe I bought off some looozer that couldn't afford to keep his own Maxima!!!

15.80??? I can do that without turning my A/C off!!!

Perhaps you should trade in that little rice burner of yours and buy a REAL car...like a Maxima!!!

Oh, that's right...

YOU CAN'T AFFORD IT...
YOU CAN'T AFFORD IT...
YOU CAN'T AFFORD IT!!!

50.0? Is that a lap time or something?

Is that Adman in the first post? That Maxima looks pretty cool.

Lastly, why is SCCA posting on this forum? It seems he doesn't even own a Maxima? Are the Honda forums too juvenile?

He used to have one, and he has more useful info about cars in his pinky than most people here have in their entire body. Including myself.

Well, the only posts I ever read from him are usually ******* the Maxima or its owner. We don't need that kind of crap on this forum. Take it to a Honda forum!

SCCA doesn't dog Maximas, there's just one guy on here that always turns it in that direction.

Hmm, maybe it's spelled "www.honduh.org" or "www.ricer.net". One of those should work.

That picture was great, HaaHaHaaHHa!!

Nice product placement on the drag strip pic too.

Haven't you seen the car since it's been repainted? Looks really nice. And you forgot the taped headlamps!!

And thanks Weazel and Ludacris.

I really miss my Maxima... and I come on this forum cause I find it more casual and fun than the honda forums.

That's because we Maxima owners have nothing to prove...
our cars speak for themselves. Unlike you yeller Honduh owners...

Oh, wait...don't I own a yeller Honduh too???

Look here captain *****alot. I had a choice of running the automatic or a car with no engine. I didn't feel like pushing my CRX around a course...but, i'm sure i'd still beat you 50.xxx times!!!

Watch out kiddo, the NEW engine is in... it comes to life tomorrow and it WILL be at the next autocross... showing you how slow the "Honduh" really is by beating your fastest time with my slowest by 10seconds!! .evil laughter.

I also got the rollbar in... it's niiicceee. I'm getting the rest of the cage welded in sometime this week or next weekend.

How much did it cost to fix the flex pipe? And if i knew it was broken, i wouldn't have sold it to you... or at least letcha know about it.

Depends, are there any turns involved in this chasing? Cause we all know how well you drive, or rather, don't drive

Look here mr solid-rear-axle... i don't want to hear any smack. My BEST ET/Trap with that engine was a slow 15.50@94mph with 2.4 60'...what trapspeed did you click off

I'll have to take the newly acquired engine to the track and see what'll do. It feels like a high 14sec car, when the VTEC works properly.
