O2 sensor attachment...

Please, a little leeway here- it is an emergency.

I am trading in my SpecV tomorrow. As some of you may know, some 02-03 Maximas have oil consumption. So do 02+ SpecVs. I don't know the cause on the VQ35, but on my QR25, it is precat failure- namely, the precat substrate gets sucked back into the motor, scores the cylinder walls, and causes oil loss and KABOOM!

So to fix it, I installed a header. I removed the manifold and lost one of the O2 sensors- the one after the precat. I went to re-install the manifold and founf that the O2 threads were destroyed. I can get it in ONE turn before it strips out.

Any suggestions on what I can use to keep it in there? I used RTV Red for now, but would JB weld work better? How much pressuer is there on an O2 sensor after the first cat?

I don't mean to be shady about it, but the dealership ruined it in the first place (long story) and I had forgotten about it until last night. I don't have the $$$ to go buy a new O2 sensor just to trade it in, as the sensor is fully functional.
