Courtesy FTSB hitting underside of hood.

Anyone have trouble with the Courtesy FTSB not fitting correctly and hitting underside of hood? Even closing hood takes more pressure and upon pulling the release, the hood pops up much harder than before. Any thoughts or fixes.

My coutesy fSTB touches a bit and yes it takes a bit more pressure to close the hood but no other probs so far. I notice it made an imprint in the foam underside of the hood. Other than that works fine.

I just need more MODSSSS = money!

Some guys have had problems with their windshield washer nozzles not working because the pressure from the bar is clamping off the flow of washer fluid. You should check yours.

My Stillen FSTB hits the hood liner a little, enough that some of the red paint from the end of the word Stillen has been transferred to the liner...I really don't see a problem, though.

Loosen up the lock nuts on and rotate the bar forward and backward a little bit to see if that makes a difference. The courtesy FSTB allows for some adjustability and doesn't have to be perfectly up/down to do its job. BTW, mine is rubbing on the hood liner a little in one spot, and the wiring harness in another, but no real issues so far.
