Removal of 5 sp shift ****

Hey all,

Just got a Momo shift **** and I'm having a bit of a time TRYing to remove the OEM ****.

Does the original **** just spin off or am I missing a set screw?
I believe I can handle the install after I get the old one off,
but I'm thinking I'm not applying enought elbow grease.

TIA,

Dave

the stock **** is glued on, so once you break the glue it should just spin right off. You may have to use a grooveless wrench of some sort to break the glue. That is how I got mine off.

Just head to your local Sears store, and buy a strap wrench, it costs like $20.
