Have anyone installed i35 guage cluster in 02 6spd Max? I know a few have done it for the automatics but want to know if it works for the 6spd. If so is there a write up ?

I need a write up. I installed it today, every thing works except the trip Its showing the wrong temp etc. Also the cluster lights up but when I put the headlights on the lights in the cluster goes out.

You can change LED's behind it. I think metalmax has done this.

For 00 Max use the 00 I30 cluster. Similar deal.

BTW, NO, led's will not come anywhere near to the quality and intensity of the I30/I35 cluster. IMO, it would be MUCH easier to swap the I cluster into the Max and the end result is much nicer too.

Also, you can put the I cluster in a MT Max. I suggest you use some neatly trimmed black tape to cover the PRND321 indicator so it does not look weird in your MT car.
